My in-laws were recently here visiting. We always love to have family come stay with us for a while. While she was here, she mentioned that one of my nieces was going to be having a birthday the day after they returned from their trip. She said the theme was sunflowers. In order to save running around the very day of the party, she asked if we could go shopping for the decorations. I had a great time.......not sure how much fun she had.......but planning parties I think is great fun. So, here is what we came up with. Please note, she is the one who did all the decorating, I just helped her think it through and gather supplies. Also, the beautiful cake was made by my great sister-in-law. Love it!
Here are the supplies we found. Green table cloth-Walmart; plates and napkins-Target; blue notebooks- on sale in the dollar aisle in Target; Gold streamers and balloons- Dollar Tree; Vase and blue stones- Dollar Tree. The sunflowers in the vase are flower pens that she made, these were also the little gifts the party goers received, along with the little blue notebooks. Sunflower name tags-- I whipped up. Feel free to use them for your own personal use.
