St. Patrick's day is not a holiday we really celebrate. I think the only thing I remember about it growing up was that it was close to my birthday and that I needed to remember to wear green so I didn't get pinched. :0)
We don't believe in luck, leprechauns, and many of the other items associated with St. Patrick's day. We believe that God is sovereign and that He has a purpose and plan for every person on this earth. Despite those things, St. Patrick's day can be used to teach our children about Ireland, their customs, geography, and people.
