Unpacking the boys toys the other day, I was once again overwhelmed with the number of stuffed animals they had. We even purged at least half of them before we moved from Ohio. So, I decided we needed some sort of cool way to store them. I had seen several ideas on Pinterest, but I really needed something quick and simple to whip up that same day.
So, here is what I settled on...
So, here is what I settled on...
Here is the tutorial that I followed, Stuffed Animal net Tutorial from Lemon Squeezy Home. I used a flat sheet that I had purchased at Walmart a while ago to make curtains for the boy's room in the last house.
My puppy lover now has a bed for all of his dogs. I think that was the only thing he ever asked for for at least 4 birthdays and Christmases. ;0)
It really holds more animals then I thought. I have these four sitting on the edge and there is plenty of room behind them for another 10 or more.
Puppies are soooo cute!!! The project probably only took about 1 hour. It probably wouldn't have taken quite so long if I wasn't trying to use 3/4 '' ribbon as my bias tape. I bought a little larger ribbon for the next one. My other son wants one too. ;0) The ribbon really ends up being about 1/3 the price of the bias tape.
