DIY Grad Gift Ideas

Graduation day is rapidly approaching!  Even though it's been years since my high school and college graduations, I can still feel the excitement of those days.  My college graduation was extra special as my hubby and I were able to walk down the aisle together.  We had just gotten married the summer before and now with the same last name we were in line together.  What a special day that was!!

In honor of those who are finishing out one phase of their lives and beginning a brand new one, I decided to put together a list of some of my favorite projects here at Redfly Creations.  I thought these gifts would not only be fun and cheap, but also an encouragement for the grads in your life.

iPads and the like are all the rage.  There are many stands out there that you can buy.  This one, however, is sturdy, can be personalized, and doesn't break the bank to make it.  Check out our  50 cent DIY iPad Stand.

Want to send a note with your grad that they will always remember?  Our Knock-off Red Envelope Eco Pillow Tutorial is a great way to send those special messages!

College is expensive!!  Whether you are finishing high school and heading in to college, or finishing college and heading into a new job, managing your money is very important.  We are huge Dave Ramsey fans around here.  We love his money envelope system.  These Custom Money Envelopes are a perfect gift for your grad.  Get them understanding now that they can only spend what they have, and they will thank you later in life!

I cannot begin to tell you how much I have used my Go Everywhere Mini Messenger Bag!  It is the perfect size to hold all my necessary items, while still keeping me hands free.  Your grad will love it too!

Homemade Quick Mixes are the best!  Whether heading into a dorm or a new home, who doesn't want to save time and money on food?  These quick mixes require very few ingredients to turn them into fresh, homemade goodness.  Watch out freshman 15!
