I love Reeses Peanut butter cups. My daughter is also a big fan. I think we could down 3 packages each at a time. When I saw this recipe from Baker Lady on pinterest, I knew I just had to try it. For Brittany's sake...........and mine! ;0)
I changed the recipe just a little bit. I didn't want to make a 9x13 pan because I knew we could eat the whole thing. So I halved the recipe, but added a little more chocolate chips, because I like my chocolate layer to be a little thicker than what it ended up with only half the recipe.
1/2 c melted butter (actually I'd do just 1 Tablespoon less than 1/2 c, it was a little softer than I'd like.)
1 c graham cracker crumbs (crushed in tiny crumbs)
1 c confectioners sugar
1/2 cup + 2 Tablespoons peanut butter
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1
Mix the graham crackers, powdered sugar, 1/2 c peanut butter, and melted butter together.
Should look like this.
2
Spread it into an ungreased pan.
3
Next, melt the chocolate chips and the peanut butter. I got so excited about how good it was going to taste that I forgot to take a picture---but you know what peanut butter and chocolate chips look like. :) It only took 1 min. in our microwave.
4
Spread the chocolate mixture on top of the peanut butter & graham cracker mixture.
5 Put it in the fridge for 1 hour.
6 Cut into bars.
7 Try not to eat the whole thing in one sitting!!
