Felt Ribbon Wreath

Since this home that we are in is a rental, we are kind of doing bare minimum decorating.  All the walls are white (which will not be the case when we move into our own home. :0) ), and we have just a few pictures on the walls.

As I look around, I often think, "this wall needs a little more color", or "this area is a little too plain."  So when I saw this felt wreath I just had to try it.  (You probably won't be able to guess what color I chose.   Yep.....RED).   I knew right where it was going to go, too, over the dining room mirror.

There it is, right over the mirror

A little closer view.

If you'd like to make one yourself, here is where I first saw the felt wreath.  She copied it from another blog that also gives great instructions.

P.S.  Oh, for those of you who do not sew, this wreath only involves cutting and hot glueing.  Pretty simple.
