Easy Ice-Cream Sandwich Dessert Recipe for Kids

"I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!"  Ice cream sandwich dessert, that is.

When I was in college, I lived with my grandparents during breaks.  This cake made from ice cream sandwiches was one of our favorite desserts to make during the summer.  Quick, easy, and delicious!!  It was a perfect treat to make with the kiddos.  :)

Ingredients

8" x 8" square pan
10 ice cream sandwiches
Whipped topping
Hershey's syrup
Caramel syrup
8 small Kit Kat bars (or candy of your choice)

Directions

Create the first layer by placing a row of ice cream sandwiches on the bottom of a freezer-safe pan.  Top with caramel syrup, chocolate syrup, and cut-up kit kat bars (about 5 fun-size bars).  Then, top with another layer of ice cream sandwiches.  Pour on more caramel and chocolate syrup.  Finally, top it off with whipped topping.  Garnish with a few more candies or nuts.  Freeze for at least 1 hour before serving.

Happy Summer!
