A Recipe for a Simple Easter Table-Scape

EASTER!

What comes to your mind when you think of this holiday?  As I thought about Easter, these were the thoughts that came to my mind and became the inspiration for my tables-cape:

Bright fresh colors.  Birds chirping.  Green grass.  Open windows.  Blowing curtains.  Fresh baked bread.  Family gatherings.  Rejoicing.

Simply Easter Table-scape

Ingredients:

Drop cloth runner (purchased at Lowes, ironed and folded in half)
Grass runner (purchased at Walmart for under $4)
Brown bird's nest (purchased at Walmart for $1and change)
Pastel eggs (purchased at Michaels at 40% for $1.50)
Ivy
White napkins
White Dishes
Sisal coasters (tutorial to come soon)
Small pebbles (purchased at the dollar store)
Ribbon from my stash

Instructions:

Layer according to pictures.
*And most importantly: Relax and have fun!!

My favorite thought relating to Easter is, "REJOICE!".  We have a real reason to rejoice!  Jesus did not stay in the grave -- He has power over death -- He rose again!  Someday, if we trust only in Him to forgive us of our sins, we too will rise again.  What a reason to rejoice!
