Our Family Art Gallery

A while ago I shared with you our kids art wall.  Throughout the months we have acquired several more art pieces and decided the display needed a little improvement.  I just love looking at their drawings and paintings, and am always amazed to see what goes on inside those little minds of theirs and to hear as they explain to me the "whys" and "hows" of their art.

Knowing we were going to be having more art pieces arriving, we kept a box of old frames.  This time, we decided to unify the display by spray painting them all black.  This way the eclectic feeling is toned down and more emphasis is placed on the color in the art itself.

The kids were excited to see their masterpieces on the walls as they relived the memories of each one.

How are you displaying your kid's art?  I would love to hear your ideas!

  2. I don't display it. And I don't even have many photos up since we remodeled/painted. I want to do something like this with photos for the wall in our living room. I'm going to pin this one.

  4. I just found you through TJ and I can't tell you how much I love this. What a cool keep sake, and it all looks so awesome together! Also, I looked though your other projects–you have some great stuff here! Therefore, I’d like to invite you to link up at my new link party (I know, an other link party?!?) but this one is different. It is for our OLD posts, great ideas that we feel didn’t get enough attention the first time around.

  13. Properly taping drywall is one of the most common jobs homeowners do at home. Unfortunately, many people believe that they can successfully tape the walls themselves, but this is a big mistake. Many people have been injured, and even killed, while Taping drywall. While it might seem like easy work, it can be tricky, with the potential for injury. During the taping process, drywall is applied to the wall in several layers.
