Quick & Easy Strawberry Freezer Jam

Strawberry Jam is my favorite.  Homemade strawberry jam is the ultimate!  My favorite thing about freezer jam is that it is quick and simple to make.

This little package here is what makes it all possible.  Instant fruit pectin for freezer jam.

The other great thing about it is it has the instructions for making the jam right on the back.  No further recipe needed.

Here are the needed ingredients.  I just did half a recipe, using 2 lbs of strawberries, 3/4 cup of sugar, fruit pectin for freezer jam- half the package, and a blender.  You also needs jars or tupperware to freeze the jam in.

I  blend my fruit just a little, and do it in a bunch of small batches.   I try to leave a few small pieces of strawberry, because that's how we like it around here.  Here it is with all the ingredients mixed in and ready to ladle into the jars.

All ready for the freezer--------mmm, can't wait!

(I actually skipped the whole freezer thing on the big jar---I just let it set for the 30 min. they say to before you freeze it, then I put it right in the fridge---cause we were ready to eat it now!)

P.S.  This is also a great idea for a Christmas gift for those hard to buy individuals on your list!!  You can print out custom gift labels by clicking here:  Strawberry Jam Gift labels.
